What are the active ingredients?
Mimikai’s magic comes from our powerhouse active ingredient. Our patented active, Methyl Nonyl Ketone (2-undecanone), is a naturally occurring compound found in wild tomato plants, bananas, cloves, ginger, and guava. This little hero works by protecting plants from pests, and we’ve harnessed its power to help repel mosquitoes and ticks.
Is Mimikai suitable for kids, sensitive skin and my face?
Yes! Mimikai is designed to feel comfortable on skin and is free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, and phthalates. It’s EPA-registered for proven mosquito and tick protection and has earned the lowest repellent toxicity classification. Non-toxic and not an irritant when used as directed.
For use on the face, we recommend applying it first to your hands and then patting it on – just like you would with any spray – to avoid contact with eyes.
Are we made in America?
Yes. Mimikai is made here in the US, just outside of St. Louis, MO, with globally sourced ingredients.
